CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION:
We are excited that you are considering partnering with us to give your child the gift of a Christian education! Listed below are the criteria for admission to Holland Christian Schools.

At least one parent or guardian has a credible personal testimony of a relationship with Jesus Christ.

There is membership in, or regular attendance at, a church in which the Bible is sincerely believed to be the inspired word of God and is therefore the basis for all life and learning.

There is an understanding of and agreement with the mission of Holland Christian Schools to provide children with a God-centered education in which Jesus Christ is acknowledged in every area of life.

There is a commitment on the part of the parents to support the work of Holland Christian through prayer, volunteer labor, and faithfully meeting all financial obligations.

Each student gives evidence of a commitment to the learning process based on past records and entrance interviews.

Each student gives evidence of or potential for emotional stability, a satisfactory behavior record, and adequate social adjustment.

We also expect that parents agree with the Mission and Philosophy of the school.

ADMISSIONS PROCESS

There are three steps to the admissions process at Holland Christian Schools.  If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact the Admissions Director at (616) 820-2805.

Step 1 - Application

For Grades 1-12, the Administration Office must receive a completed application by August 1 in order to guarantee processing prior to the start of the new school year. The Administration Office must receive kindergarten applications by April 1 in order to guarantee processing prior to Kindergarten Visiting Day in May, otherwise the August 1 deadline must be followed.  An application can be obtained by calling (616) 820-2805.

Step 2 - Admissions Appointment
This meeting takes place with parents, a member of the Admissions Committee, and a building principal. Students applying for grades 9-12 must also attend this appointment. Attendance is optional for students applying for grades K-8. The meeting will only be scheduled after a completed application has been received.

Step 3 - Registration

Upon admission, families will be mailed a Registration Packet, which includes instructions on how to apply for financial aid and how to set up a tuition payment schedule.
