Holland Christian Schools provides a unique opportunity for international students to study abroad and acquire an American Education. International students can attend 10th-12th grades, for-credit classes alongside their American counterparts and can earn a U.S. High School diploma. New students are accepted entering 10th-11th grades. Students are also encouraged to participate in extra-curricular activities, thereby giving them a true American High School experience. Holland Christian High School is a private school that offers a large variety of courses in English, Literature, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Business, Bible, German, Latin, and Spanish. Additionally, 7 Advanced Placement (AP) classes are offered in Biology, Calculus, English, Statistics, Studio Art, and World History. Co-curricular programs in Band, Orchestra, Drama, and Choir are very popular programs with over 65% of the student body participating.
Housing for international students is available through host families who have or have had children attend Holland Christian Schools.
Holland Christian School High School is located in Holland, Michigan, a small town of approximately 35,000 people located on the shores of Lake Macatawa, just minutes from Lake Michigan. Holland is known for its Dutch heritage and its family-oriented lifestyle.
