The good news is Holland Christian will have a brand new, twelve court tennis complex next fall!
The bad news is neither the new courts nor the current tennis courts will exist this summer. That means Holland Christian cannot offer a tennis camp this summer.
Our apologies, but that is the price of progress but there are still options for tennis instruction and drills.
The first option is to take private, semi-private, or small group lessons. These lessons, available to children and adults of all ages, will be taught by Mr. Ray Buursma, (former girls’ junior varsity coach and current boys’ varsity assistant coach) or by varsity tennis players. For information for lessons, call Mr. Buursma at 335-7165 or email him here.
The second option is for serious high school players who intend to try out for a high school tennis team. Those interested in drilling throughout the summer on an irregular basis with other such players should visit the tennis table on the Holland Christian High School registration day. They should register their name, phone number, and email address. As summer nears they will receive alerts identifying the times and locations of the gatherings. Cost for these sessions will be minimal and collected on a pay only when you play basis.
