SPORTSMANSHIP
In an effort to improve the sportsmanship of HC students at athletic events and to get students to use their laptops for such a project, the following assignment is being given.
STEP 1 - Go to Mr. Smits’ webpage:

STEP 2 - In the right hand column, click on “Sports, competition,
and sportsmanship” (#4)
STEP 3 - Click on the Sportsmanship and MHSAA (Michigan High
School Athletic Association) link
STEP 4 - Choose 1 of the 14 articles to read
STEP 5 - Write a summary and reaction report about the article that you chose. The following topics need to be included in your report.
a. Name of the article
b. What is the main idea of the article? (1 sentence)
c. Summarize the contents of the article (50 words)
d. Was it a worthwhile article? Explain (25 words)
POINT VALUE – 8 POINTS, the equivalent of 2 days of P.E.
DUE DATE - FRIDAY, DECEMBER 7 – There will be a 1 point reduction from whatever grade the paper earned for each school day the assignment is late.
