Cell Animation
Purpose
- Learn about frame animation.
- Create a simple animation in Appleworks presentation.
To Do
- Create a cell animation with at least 30 frames.
Timeline
- 3 days.
Requirements:
- Open a new Appleworks "Presentation."
- Create a background setting for animation.
- Click on the "star" in the "Controls" window.
- Go to "Options" to "Edit Background."
- Place a clip art in the background to establish a setting.
- Click on the "Slide" tab in the "Controls" window.
- Using one graphic or more create an animation of at least 30 slides.
- Use both "slide transformations" and "scale transformations" to give the effect of motion.
- Slide Tranformation at least two different directions.
- Scale Transformation both shrinking and growing.
- Click on previously created slides to check placement of graphics on new slide a way of "onion skinning."
- Click on triangle play tab in the "Controls" window:
- Check - Auto Advance
- Type "0" seconds
- Check - Play Show continuously
- Uncheck - Show Cursor
- Click the "Play" button to see you newly created animation.
Evaluation:
- Please do the Cell Animation Rubric, with the person at a computer 1 numbers less than yours.
Final Steps:
- Name the document "Animation."
- Save a copy in your "Public" folder and save a copy in your "Tech 6" folder. If you have more than one animation name them "Animation2", "Animation3", etc.
- Go to the next project.
