Purpose:

• Create a timeline of your life so far including world events for each year.

To Do:

• Record the years you have been alive, beginning with your birth year until now.
• Homework: Have relatives and friends help you record special events that occurred in Your Life for at least 90% of the years listed.
• Classwork: Use the internet to locate World Events that occurred during Every Year you have been alive. You may record more than one event per year. Include the month and day the event occurred when possible. Please remember to choose events that are appropriate.

Requirements:

• Create a header using "Format: Insert header" for the title of the document.
• Be sure to use your autobiography font.
• You may use tabs, a table, or columns to arrange your timeline. The 3 groups of information that need to be on the timeline are the: Year, Life Events, World Events. You need to determine the best method for organizing the information in an easy to read, organized, neatly arranged format.
• Be sure to use text size, style, and color to set off heading and organize information.
• Include appropriately sized graphics that fit with the timeline, if space allows.

Evaluation:

• Please do the Timeline Rubric with another person at an even computer if your computer number is odd. If you computer number is even then do it with a person with an odd computer number.

Final Steps:

• Name the document "Timeline"
• Save a copy in your "Public" folder and save a copy in your "Autobiography" folder.
• Go to the next project.
