Moodle is software that allows teachers to post information about their classes on the web. Holland Christian maintains a moodle server and the high school teachers each list their weekly homework assignments on their individual moodle sites. These sites are updated each week by Saturday at 6:00 PM for the next week. That server is found at http://moodle.hollandchristian.org.

To check the homework of your student you will need to know what classes and teachers each of your student has. Once you know this follow these instructions to find out what your student is doing. Do not forget to bookmark each teacher's page so that it is easy to find again next week.

  1. Surf to http://moodle.hollandchristian.org.
  2. In the search box (in the middle section of the page) type the name of the teacher whose class you would like to check on.
  3. A list of the classes that teacher teaches will appear. Click on the one with a name matching the name of your student's course.
  4. The first time that you do this you will be asked to log in. Click the Login as Guest button.
  5. Add this page to your favorites or bookmarks so that you can return to the course easily.
  6. Repeat this for any other courses that you are interested in.
