Students who wish to attend a Service Academy should apply directly to the admissions office of the appropriate academy. In addition, a separate request must be made by the student to an authorized entity, one of which is Congressman Hoekstra, for a nomination (required by 4 out of 5 service academies). Interested students should contact their counselors in the spring of their junior year for more information. Applications for nominations are accepted at the Congressional Office July 1 to October 31, 2008.
