Senior Pictures (Yearbook Specifications)
Congratulations on making it to your senior year at HCHS! Here are some common questions & answers about senior pictures for yearbook use. Please read them carefully, as we do not wish anyone to be excluded from the senior sections of the yearbook.
Picture Specifications
--Must be:
-Color (no black and white or sepia)
-Head and shoulder shot, both eyes visible
-Full length view (vertical)
--Please Avoid:
-Distracting shadows on the face
-Busy backgrounds
-Props (sorry, Fluffy’s not graduating)
-Covering the subjects face in any way (hands may show; not interfere with the face)
-“Special effects” (reflections, fades, soft touch…etc.)
--Digital Files
-Size must be AT LEAST 2”x3”
-MUST be high resolution (at least 300 dpi)
--Prints
-Wallet (2”x3”)
Deadline & Submitting Information
The deadline for turning in for the yearbook is Monday, September 29, 2008.
Turn in the pictures to Ms. Hansen via:
