Members of the Theatre Arts Patrons (TAP) group are individuals who are dedicated to promoting the Theatre Arts Program at Holland Christian Schools. Their main purpose is to raise funds to support student run productions, on-stage and in technical support. TAP works through several committees that help with behind the scenes production work.
The Hospitality Committee organizes meals and intermission snacks for cast members. The cataloging and inventorying of costumes, as well as making costumes for productions is the role of the Costume Committee. The Program Committee creates and publishes programs for each production.
Since its inception seven years ago, TAP has raised more than $60,000 for the HC Theatre Department. Financial support is raised through the sale of advertisements in production programs and donations from theatre patrons. TAP has helped fund new dressing rooms, a new costume storage room, ten hair microphones, a new lightboard and dimmer pack, rental of period costumes, and a traveling soundboard.
