High School

9th – 12th Grade

We view each high school student as an individual image bearer of God with unique gifts, abilities, and callings in life, and are committed to providing for a wide range of student interests and abilities. While this description defines how we educate our students, it is our intentional infusion of God’s word into every subject, including our advanced technology, and our desire for significant and meaningful spiritual formation for our students that sets us apart and is the chief reason for our existence. We believe that our many co-curricular opportunities are part of our total educational program and are simply extensions of the classroom wherein students develop their gifts and passions, and where they learn so many other valuable life lessons.

Middle School

6th – 8th Grade

Sixth, seventh, and eighth grade HCMS students thrive on learning more about God’s world, and do so throughout our beautifully renovated middle school building that was recently updated with open educational spaces for 21st century learning. Under the care and instruction of our skilled, creative, and caring Christian educators, students at HCMS receive a stellar and formative middle school experience rooted in God’s Word, complete with age-appropriate yet challenging academics, a wide array of extracurricular offerings, and positive social interactions geared specially for the middle school student. Besides the core subjects, all of our students also receive quality instruction in art, literature, technology, Bible, PE, and music, and all in a safe and supportive environment!

South Side Elementary

Preschool – 2nd Grade

South Side has been described by many of our parents as a children’s garden for our preschool through second grade students, all going about the important business of learning about God’s beautiful world while discovering and following His will in their young lives. The children at South Side are lovingly enriched, patiently tended, appreciated and pointed always to their heavenly Father. Our staff is eager, dedicated and well-equipped to meet each student where he or she is and to grow them into a deep and faith-filled relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Together we learn about one another and discover how we can best meet the needs of each unique child, all while carefully tending our reading, writing, and math skills.

Forest School

Kindergarten – 2nd Grade

We know that learning happens best when it’s relevant—when students see its connection to the world around them. We’ve also discovered in the last few years through our outdoor Forest School how concrete and relevant a nature-based program can be. Plus our Forest School dovetails beautifully with our school’s mission and focus on faith formation: The Lord cares deeply about His world, and as His followers, we love the things He loves, including His creation He has given us. Furthermore, quality outdoor education has been shown to effectively improve student focus, cognitive function, social skills, wonder and creativity! So our nature-based Forest School students spend the majority of their days learning in and around the multi-acre wooded area nestled in the heart of our school’s property.

Pine Ridge Elementary

3rd – 5th Grade

Pine Ridge is a unique third through fifth grade school, with caring teachers guiding and mentoring students through their educational experiences. Pine Ridge has aspects of both an elementary school and a middle school: In third and fourth grades, we emphasize reading and writing through content, develop complex math skills, learn to use study skills, and implement focused interventions to improve learning. In fifth grade we transition from dependent learning to independent learning, with a gradual and comfortable shift from elementary styled self contained classrooms to shared classrooms within specific curriculum areas. In all grades, students are of course instructed in core classes, but also the arts and extracurriculars through the lens of God’s Word, by caring, creative and skilled educators.

Rose Park Elementary

Preschool – 5th Grade

Our students in grades preschool through fifth grade spend their days discovering God’s amazing world, alongside His faithfulness in our lives. With Biblical lenses, we understand that God is both creator and sustainer of all things, as it says in Colossians 1, “For in him all things were created…all things have been created through him and for him.” Therefore, in all the mind-opening things we study at Rose Park, our highly qualified teachers continually expose God and his most excellent designs, Who is already in whatever we are learning. And at Rose Park we do that in both English and our Spanish Immersion classes, and through God’s creation, as we see it in our Rose Park Ranch, coming soon!
