Coach Brad Jansen

Assistant AD & PE Teacher at HCHS – 1ST year coaching (15th overall)

I believe that sports allow us to be a part of something bigger than ourselves. When you have to rely on the work, effort and camaraderie of your team to have success, you find out so much about yourself. I believe that being ultimately selfless allows a player to grow in so many ways. Having a common goal with your teammates is the ultimate selfless action–working as one, putting yourself second to the needs of others and being a part of a team all while “Working for the Lord” is one of the most rewarding opportunities a student athlete can have!

Coach Jeff Keen

Assistant Principal at HCHS – 2nd year coaching (16th Overall)

I believe the game of basketball teaches many valuable life lessons such as hard work, commitment, teamwork, and dealing with adversity. Being able to coach at Holland Christian allows me to share how God can use these life lessons in the game of basketball to help shape Holland Christian players into becoming more like Jesus.

Coach Mike Winowiecki

HCHS Social Studies teacher: 1st year coaching (2nd overall)

As a former athlete, I’ve come to find that sports not only allow us to engage in something that we are passionate about, but also provides us with the opportunity to learn a lot about life as well. Things like pursuing a common goal, knowing how to work alongside others, as well as persevering through challenging circumstances are just a few of the many examples. As a coach, it is my goal to help my student-athletes reach their full potential by understanding that growth is only accomplished through challenge and doing so in a way that honors God and brings joy to their lives.

Coaches Ann Pawloski & Melissa Vanderzwaag

Educational Support Services at HCHS – 2nd year coaching (2nd overall)

We coach because we love working with students of all ability levels. Coaching a unified team is about finding the unique strengths and abilities in each person as well as helping them develop authentic friendships with each other.
