Competing in athletics during high school and college gave me great joy, and provided me with many opportunities to grow as a person both physically and spiritually. Many of the qualities that I have developed in my life originated and were molded through athletics: perseverance, dedication, hard work, confidence, and a growing trust that our Abba is in control and is my Rock when I am fearful. It brings me fulfillment and joy when I can impact a student athlete in a similar way, as together we strive to reach goals and release our fears and trust in Him more.
