Gifts in a Will
By including charitable giving in your will, you model to your loved ones a legacy of generosity. You also help ensure Holland Christian Schools continues to make a difference well beyond your lifetime.
We currently have a matching gift opportunity for anyone including Holland Christian in their wills: A faithful HC supporter has generously offered a matching gift opportunity of $1,000,000 to help grow the Holland Christian Education Foundation in particular, to provide support for both today and the future. For any household committing to a donation from their future estate plan for either 5% or or $50,000, a $20,000 matching gift will be given to the Foundation today through this matching gift offer.

Non-Cash Assets
You may be able to increase your potential impact –and experience significant tax benefits – by giving non-cash assets to Holland Christian Schools.
Examples of non-cash assets:

- IRA charitable rollover (for donors ages 70 ½ and older)

Donor-Advised Fund
Donor-advised funds provide you with a simple, flexible, and tax-efficient giving opportunity. Receive an immediate tax deduction when you deposit cash or proceeds from appreciated assets into a single charitable giving account. Then, recommend grants be made to Holland Christian Schools and your other favorite charities at a time that works best for you.
Through Holland Christian Schools’ membership with Barnabas Foundation, you have complimentary access to the “Stewards Fund,” a donor-advised fund that reflects your biblical values.
”Because all of the teachers have other options that might be more financially rewarding (they are all highly skilled and could easily find other work in their field of expertise), every teacher here made a conscious decision to teach here. They had to genuinely care about the students.
