FS/SS/PR Newsletter – November 2019

November is one of the times of year when we reflect, especially around the time of  Thanksgiving. Our first thoughts might be of delicious fall foods like mashed potatoes, cranberries, corn, stuffing, turkey, and pumpkin pie. What did we have last year? What will we have this year? And then our thoughts can deepen to remembering all God has provided throughout the year. What has he provided through difficult times? How has he blessed us?

At Holland Christian, we are thankful to God for the new families that have joined our schools, the support from so many parents, relatives, and friends, a community that partners with us, and a staff that supports our students.  We are also thankful for those great Thanksgiving hymns, and the fact that we get to sing them together in the classrooms and auditoriums of Holland Christian. What a blessing!

This November, as we reflect on Thanksgiving season, let’s lift our hearts in gratitude. “Now thank we all our God, with heart and hands and voices, Who wondrous things has done, in Whom this world rejoices.”

Box Tops for Education

Traditional Box Tops clips are being phased out of production, but you can still send in any remaining unexpired clips to the school office. Eventually the Box Tops program will become digital only. Participating brands are starting to change their packaging from a traditional Box Tops clip to the new Box Tops label. If you see this new Box Tops label, use the Box Tops app to scan your receipt. Box Tops are still worth .10 cents for our school. The app will find participating products purchased at any store and instantly add cash to our school’s earnings online. Find out more information on how Box Tops app works

Direct Your Dollars

Help Holland Christian Schools earn $1,000 through the Direct Your Dollars program! We’re collecting receipts from any Family Fare or D&W Fresh Market and Gas locations to raise money for our schools. Drop your receipts off at any of the school offices.
