HCS Annual Society Meeting – April 19, 7 pm
Dear HCS Society Members,
The annual Society Meeting for Holland Christian Schools is coming up at 7pm in the HCHS Lecture Hall on April 19, 2018, and we wanted to take an opportunity to invite you to attend.
At the most basic level, the stakeholders who make up the Holland Christian Schools Society oversee our organization by selecting the Board of Trustees and approving the annual budget. The trustees uphold and protect the mission of the school and appoint administrators to carry out that mission on a day-to-day basis. The Society Meeting is your opportunity to both engage in the present reality of our school and demonstrate your care for its future.
Carrying out the work of school requires a budget that is mindful of the present and keeps an eye on future sustainability as well. Below you’ll find the details of that budget for your consideration. If you have detailed questions about specific elements of the budget, please contact Dave Zimmer, HCS Director of Finance, before Monday, April 16, so that he can provide you with timely responses ahead of the meeting (email@example.com).
A top-notch Board of Trustees is another vital piece to the ongoing success of our school system, and our current board has been working for months to bring you three high-quality candidates for two new trustee positions. Please see the information below about Chad Pierce, Craig Spoelhof, and Mark Windemuller as you consider your approval of these candidates.
Thank you all for your deep love, support, and passion for Holland Christian Schools. We are blessed to work on your behalf each day, and we hope to see you at the Society Meeting on April 19.[pdf-embedder url=”https://www.hollandchristian.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/Holland-Christian-Schools-Society-Report-1.pdf” title=”Holland Christian Schools Society Report”]
