How about some after school enrichment? Try ACE!
As the novelty of Christmas break and the new year may have worn off, we like to offer an after school enrichment opportunity to area students called “A.C.E.” which is short for “Afterschool Community Enrichment.” It’s a safe creative space in our elementary buildings where for one afternoon a week we offer hands-on after-school classes for grouped grade levels to explore and try something new, build friendships, and have fun.
Starting the end of January, and running for five weeks through February, each $55-65 spring A.C.E. class offers supervised snack and outdoor time, then gathers for over an hour until 5 pm, to focus on things like sewing, acting, Legos, or volleyball under our expert staff. All of the classes are open not only to HC students, but any community children, and have a limited class size, so sign up soon if you’re interested! A.C.E. is separate from our regular after-school programming, so kids who are not normally in any of our after-school programming are free to join, along with children already in regular after-school programming. Finally, each of our elementary school campuses has slightly different A.C.E. offerings, so download your preferred school’s brochure to see what is offered, as well as a registration form. Registration for the classes is open from through Friday, January 25 or Monday, January 28, by printing out the registration form, filling it in, and turning in to each school’s front office, or by scanning and emailing the form to Sue Vos, at email@example.com.
If you have questions about the A.C.E. program and its classes, feel free to contact our A.C.E. coordinator, Sue Vos at firstname.lastname@example.org.
