Middle School Newsletter: April 2018
Dear Holland Christian Middle School Parents and Families,
Welcome back to School! My hope is that you each enjoyed time with your family and sacred time with our Heavenly Father over Easter break. God has taught me so many new ways to Cultivate Shalom – and some of those ways have been through your children – I love seeing them each and every day.
April brings some new learning for our students. Project Best Life will be at our school this month. Project Best Life serves area schools, churches, parents and teens by bringing sexual and relational health education to students. Also this month, your student will be taking the MAP test. On these days, please make sure your student has plenty of healthy snacks, good sleep and appointments to be scheduled other days if possible (please see MAP testing dates below).
As we enter into the last eight weeks of school, may God continue to be the center and the focus in whatever we do at Holland Christian. Below you will find some exciting things coming up in April.
Thanks for all you do,

The Athletic Department of Holland Christian Schools is offering students entering grades 7-12 the opportunity to complete a state-required athletic physical. This required physical will allow your student to participate in athletic events throughout the 2018-2019 school year. Note: If you bring your student to their personal physician, the exam must be dated after April 15 to be valid.
Physicals will be given Tuesday, April 17 from 6:30-9:00 PM at South Washington Family Medicine (Lakeshore Health Partners, 904 Washington Ave., #210) for the nominal fee of $15. For a simple and quick appointment, please click on this link. The 2018-2019 physical forms are also available through this link.
