Welcome to Rose Park Christian School! Thank you for taking some time to learn more about who we are and what we experience together in the journey of “equipping minds and nurturing hearts to transform the world for Jesus Christ.”

We have the special opportunity at Rose Park of being home to preschool through sixth grade students and their families, all under one roof, shepherded by a highly trained, professional, loving, creative, faithful, passionate, and Spirit-filled staff, all growing in the knowledge and grace of our Good Shepherd. Because of this grace we are compelled by a deep desire to experience and bring the Kingdom of God to each other, our neighborhood, our city, and beyond. We desire to be a school without walls where we can explore our community, learn from our neighbors, and in very age-appropriate ways join the Spirit’s work of restoration in our world.

Using our Biblical and Reformed lens, we understand that God is in all things. Colossians 1:16-17 (NIV) says, “For in him all things were created…all things have been created through him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.” Therefore, no matter what we study, we do not impose God upon what we are learning, but we expose God who is already present in whatever we are learning. Everything we explore provides us with an opportunity to learn more about who God is, about the world He created and sustains, about ourselves as His unique image-bearers, about all of the relationships in which we find ourselves, and the meaning God has for our lives.

While this web page is a wonderful way to begin exploring Rose Park Christian School, there is nothing like an in-person visit to experience the wonderful people, mission, and spirit of our school. We would love to meet you, and especially to partner with you in coming alongside your child to provide a very special faith-filled learning journey for him or her. Please do not hesitate to call or email with your questions or desire to come on in for a cup of coffee, conversation, and tour. Hope to see you soon!

“I value the way the HC staff has enfolded our kids and our family. As newcomers to HC and the Holland community, this aspect of HC has been invaluable!”

Since the Reformation, the Protestant Church has not been big on icons, and no less so in the Reformed tradition where I grew up. I was raised to think that any iconography bordered […]

Dear Rose Park Family and Friends, We all know at some level how change and transition can bring uncertainty and fear into our lives. Some of us are great at celebrating change and transitions, while others of us try to shield ourselves as much as we can from from them. In either case, I’m not […]
