Kids’ Stuff Resale
The spring Kids’ Stuff Resale is Saturday, March 2, 9 am-noon at HCHS’s Main Street. Come ready to purchase low-priced, but high-quality, outgrown toys and children’s clothing, Dutch costumes, baby gear, kids bikes and athletic gear! Questions? Contact Leanne Halma at firstname.lastname@example.org, or call (616) 820-2811. It’s $1 per adult at the door for entry, with proceeds for the HCS Tuition Grant Fund.
Afterschool Community Enrichment classes!
New A.C.E. classes including Volley Kids for grades K – 2 and Mime’s the Word and Painting on Canvas for grades 3 – 6 will continue thru March 7.
Open enrollment is in full swing for all students (preschool-12). We are excited to watch the classes for this fall begin to form and fill in. We would like to clarify a question that has surfaced. If your student(s) are currently enrolled with Holland Christian, there is no need to re-enroll the same student moving forward. Think of it like a one-and-done process. However, you will need to enroll students beginning Kindergarten, since their enrollment from preschool does not carry over to the K-12 enrollment process.
2019-2020 TUITION GRANT APPLICATION

Preparing A Table
As you know, our school theme this year is Preparing A Table. We are working each day in different ways to understand what it means to both prepare a table to invite others to as well as to be invited to a table prepared for us. This year, on April 23, our preschool through fourth grade will prepare a spring program for your family. Mrs. Boer would like to play a video of pictures and clips of our families preparing a table for others in their homes. If you invite others to break bread at your table, would you be willing to take and share a picture or clip for the montage she would like to put together for the program? Please send your picture or clip to Mrs Boer’s email at firstname.lastname@example.org Thank you!
South Side Announcements
Library Work Bee
Many of our students throughout South Side have recently engaged in non-fiction research projects. They’ve been delving into non-fiction books and excitedly sharing their findings and are working diligently to publish their work. We’re thrilled, as a staff, to revel in their enthusiasm for learning. As you know, good learning can create good messes. Big ones. Our library is showing the enthusiastic research our children have engaged in. There are books that have been returned recently at a much faster rate than our volunteers can keep up with. We’re flying the white flag and seeking help! If you have availability and are willing, we’d love to welcome you into our library to sort and reshelf our book supply. We’ll hold a book-reshelving party (doesn’t that sound too good to pass up?) on Thursday, February 28 at 10:00. Snacks will even be provided! Please email Miska at email@example.com if you are willing and available to help in our media center.

The camp is lead by varsity softball Coach Bruns with support from the other HC softball coaches and varsity players, creating time and space for one-on-one attention and skill improvement, while in a positive Christ-focused environment.
