The Gift of a New Year

It is always exciting to begin another year, especially as Christians. We know who we are and whose we are, so we look forward to the blessings, the challenges, and the possibilities that await us in 2018.  At the elementary level we are concluding the first semester and anticipating the second. Knowing in this next year the fun we will have on Wacky Wednesdays, the learning through STEAM activities during Makers’ Week, the broadening of our experiences through field trips, the fun of field days, and even the community celebrations such as Martin Luther King Day and Tulip Time. Not only do we look forward to these special activities and celebrations, but also we will continue to enjoy the daily routines of reading, writing, and word work, knowing that God is a part of everything we will do in this coming year. We are so grateful to enter into 2018 with the loving support of our HC community. Blessings to all in this New Year!

Our bus drivers have been experiencing some challenges recently navigating their route for safe student drop off in our lot to the south side of the building. Our apologies for how congested traffic can get during drop-off and pick-up times, but we do need to reserve the bus lane for buses only. Please use the front circle drive for student drop-off. This will keep our students safe and buses traveling along in a timely manner. We appreciate your help in this important effort. Thank you.
