The Tuition Grant Fund provides assistance to families who demonstrate a financial need. The families of approximately 30% of the students attending Holland Christian Schools receive financial assistance each year through the Tuition Grant Fund. For the 2017-18 school year, approximately $1,000,000 in financial support was awarded to these families. The Tuition Grant Fund has made Christian education available to many families who desire such a Christ-centered education for their children and it has increased the economic diversity of our student body because the financial barrier for parents has been reduced.

Last year more than 1,400 people, churches and companies financially supported the Tuition Grant Fund. To reach our $1,000,000 goal this year, we encourage you (parents, grandparents, alumni, and Holland Christian Schools friends) to prayerfully consider a donation to this fund. For more information about the Tuition Grant Fund, please contact Troy Dokter, Director of Advancement at or (616) 820-2819.

Along with donations, we also plan a variety of special events for the coming year to support the Tuition Grant Fund. We hope you’ll mark your calendar for several of these!

Living Stones Lecture Series Dinner and Fundraiser

Thursday, April 25
Holland Christian High School
5:30 pm Refreshments & Hors D’oeuvres
6:30 pm Welcome & Dinner
7:30 pm Our Featured Speaker
Our speaker for 2019 is Randy Alcorn, who published most of his 50+ bestselling books, including his New York Times Bestsellers Heaven, The Treasure Principle, Happiness, etc. several years ago, and lately has been somewhat quietly leading Bible studies. His words often bring hope and comfort to difficult situations, or to those undergoing grief and loss. We’re excited to not only meet and learn from Randy, but also to hear him dialogue with one of his fans, Kirk Cousins ’07, in an interactive and meaningful conversation throughout the “lecture.” And just like our previous Living Stones Lecture Series, we share in a community meal together, enjoy stimulating conversations and good food, and then gather in the auditorium to be encouraged and enlightened by Randy Alcorn, with Kirk Cousins. To reserve your space for this inspirational evening, contact Leanne Halma at or (616) 820-2811. If you prefer to write a check, you can drop it off, attention to Leanne Halma, at the Holland Christian administration office (Door B of HCHS, off of 40th.)
